was born April 23, 1946 to Denver and Florence Cooper.
Eddie Cooper married Barbara Buckley of Parkersburg, West Virginia on September
2, 1966. They have two grown sons: Jason and Scott. Bother
Cooper is a graduate of St. Marys High School in St. Marys, WV and subsequently
received AS and BS degrees respectively from Ohio Valley College and Abilene
Christian University.
Eddie Cooper has served congregations in Ohio at Chillicothe, Veto, Pennsville, Hanoverton, and Sardis; in West Virginia at Fairmont; and also in Texas. Presently (since 1995) Eddie has been working with the North End church of Christ in Parkersburg, WV.
Brother Cooper’s has applied himself as camp counselor, teacher, director and board member; teaching Training For Christian Service in Fairmont, WV; conducting singing schools in West Virginia and Ohio; radio and television work; and has written articles that have appeared in Teenage Christian, Bible Herald, Gospel Truths, Gospel Advocate, Therefore Stand, Christian Bible Teacher, West Virginia Christian and Upon the Rock.
