Following is an abbreviated list of elements to which the Bible attributes saving power (Romans 1:16). These pertain to man's responsibilities as he obeys God (Hebrews 5:8-9) and do not take into consideration God's activity in our salvation (e.g., mercy, Titus 3:5; grace, Ephesians 2:8; etc.).
Hear God's Word exclusively (Romans 10:17; Acts 16:32)
Bible Faith (John 8:24)
Repentance (Acts 17:30)
Confess Jesus as the Christ (Romans 10:9-10)
Baptism (immersion) in water for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-5; 1 Peter 3:21)
Faithfulness (Revelation 2:10)
