Remain steadfast in the Lord.
Place no hope in this worldly horde.
Things of this world are frail.
They will fail.
This world is not my home.
The Scriptures I will comb.
Its truths are what give hope,
Providing ways to cope.
Help me daily life’s path along
that in your care I will forever belong.
