Report for July 2010

69 Souls obeyed the gospel this Month.

1st:- At Bangalore Evening Bible Study at Thangaraj’s house. 15 gathered.

2nd:- Took Saroja to the hospital and Pet C.T.Scan was taken.

3rd:- The report says that the disease is in complete remission. No evidence of active disease elsewhere. We thank God for His unspeakable mercies. We thank for each one of the individuals and the congregations for the help in the time of need. Doctor who treated Saroja is Mrs. Poonam Patel, who is a Hindu. Yet she said your God is great. Saroja is very happy now. She thank you all for your timely help.

8th:- I was baptized into this day in the Year 1967. This is my spiritual birthday. Please pray for me.

I thank God for the privilege He gave me to serve Him in His vineyard for the past 44 years. Thank you all for your encouragement so far.

9th:- My son Dougla’s contact, one Laxmi a Hindu lady was baptized. She is the wife of one Munilal, who was baptized during Douglas’s visit to Bihar and Nepal in February this Year.

He invited Munilal and his wife and one young man by name Sunil to come to Bangalore who was also baptized in Bihar. They are undergoing Bible training for the last 3 months. They speak Bihari and Hindi languages. They went to Bihar on 14th for 2 weeks holiday, and they will be returning to Bangalore on 4th instant to resume studies. Douglas and I with our team are planning to go to Bihar and Nepal in November for 2 weeks evangelism tour in this Year.

10th:- Dr. Liliy John, department of internal medicine, found out that Saroja’s sugar is high because of urinary infection. She told her to take 20 injections, two injection per day (morning and night) by infusion.

I was busy taking Saroja everyday to the hospital for about 10 days. She is almost free from the infection now.

14th:- Sent two of our Kannada preachers Venkatesh and Donald Shiri to Bangarpet (40 km) on the way to Chennai. They met one denominational preacher by name Jonah. He took them into what is known as Kolar Gold Field, 12 km (now no work in this gold mine). He took our preachers to different areas, our preachers visited many homes and shared the gospel of Christ and returned to Bangalore in the night.

16th:- Went to Erode, 270 km from Bangalore. Visited our preachers and conducted Bible study. Proceeded to Namakkal, visited our preachers’ contacts, conducted Bible study in the different places. Returned to Bangalore late in the night.

25th:- Sunday:- Sis. Elizabeth Frye from Bristol, TN, USA attended the worship. She is in Bangalore on a business tour. She is a member of the Lord’s church.

27th:- Went to Guthahalli. Visited our Bro. Samson K. Mathew, who is working in Ashok Hotel, brought him to Davis Road shown him the way. He says his working hours are 10.30 AM to 10.30 PM. He came to Bangalore 4 months ago. But never attended one Sunday worship. I encouraged him to be faithful to the Lord Jesus. I suggested that he can come around 8.30 am to the church meeting place and we will have a mini service. Some of our members will be there. He agreed. He promised to come every week.

Preachers reported 68 souls. I baptized 1 soul. Total for the Month 69; total for the Year 450 +69 = 519 Souls.
