Jackie M. Stearsman,
is
the Director of the Florida School of Preaching, 1807 South Florida
Avenue, Lakeland, Florida 33803; (941) 683-4043. He was born April 4,
1938 at Mortons Gap, Kentucky. Brother Stearsman has served as an
evangelist with congregations in Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan
and Florida. He has held Gospel meetings in Tennessee, Florida,
Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Vermont, West Virginia and Jamaica. It has
been Jackie's pleasure to participate as a speaker in several
lectureship programs, including: West Coast (Florida), Lake Worth,
Freed-Hardeman, Old Paths (Florida), Florida School of Preaching,
Alabama Christian School of Religion, Spiritual Sword, Annual Virginia
Bible Lectureship, Tampa, Florida West Coast Weekend Lectureship,
Fourth Annual Greater Kanawha Valley Lectureship (West Virginia),
Shenadoah Lectures, Denton Lectures, and Firm Foundation Lectures
(Dayton, OH). Jackie Stearsman has experience in radio evangelism
(Kentucky and Tennessee) and has written articles that have appeared in
the following religious journals: Christian Bible Teacher, Gospel Advocate, and Spiritual Sword. He is the author of the Gospel Advocate Companion
(Annual Lesson Commentary) for the years 1982-1983, 1983-1984,
1984-1985. Additionally, Jackie has written books and tracts to
include: Study Notes on Ezekiel, Study Notes on Daniel, What About Gambling (tract), A Critique of the Multiplying Ministries of the Boston Church of Christ, Study Notes
developed from classes at Florida School of Preaching and special
lectureship series. Brother Stearsman has taught at Michigan Christian
College and Florida School of Preaching where he is now the Director.
