Taiwan & Thailand Trip 2001: In August, John Grubb will be preaching a series of lessons in various cities in Taiwan and Thailand. He is a longtime missionary to Taiwan and is part of the staff of Truth for the World, overseen by the elders of the Duluth, GA church of Christ. Truth for the World Building Construction: Truth for the world has a short but very productive history. Beginning in February of 1992 Truth for the World has been under the eldership of the Knight Arnold Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee (now the Forest Hill Church of Christ), the eldership of the Olive Branch Church of Christ in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and is now under the eldership of the Duluth Church of Christ in Duluth, Georgia.

Truth for the World is a mission work of the churches of Christ and a total approach to world evangelism that uses every aspect of the media to reach the more than six billion lost souls of the world. What is Truth for the World doing to reach these lost souls? Truth for the World broadcasts the gospel via AM, FM, and shortwave radio and via television to every major continent in the world. Truth for the World prints five Bible correspondence courses, sixty-two English gospel tracts, thirty Chinese tracts and a quarterly teaching paper. Our courses are distributed to hundreds of thousands, we produce nearly one million tracts per year, and send 33,000 teaching papers out each quarter. At present, these are going to 157 nations throughout the world. Truth for the World maintains an internet website. Available at this website are the Bible correspondence courses, audio sermons, tracts, articles, and various other gospel and Bible helps. Truth for the World plans gospel campaigns to various areas throughout the world each year for the purpose of follow-up, edifying the brethren, and evangelistic outreach. Our goal is to fulfill the "Great Commission" and to present the gospel of Christ to every person of every nation of our world. "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:16). Working together, this can be done (1 Corinthians 3:8,9).

The work of Truth for the world now has a special need which will enhance our work together for the Lord. Truth for the World needs a new facility.

We are in the process of remodeling and expanding an existing building of 4,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet. The cost of the construction is $450,000.00, of which we have $341,000.00. We are in urgent need of $109,000.00 and therefore call upon you for your generous, enthusiastic, and prayerful financial support. This building is on the grounds of the Duluth Church of Christ and will take care of our present needs as well as allow for future growth.
