Preacher Needed: The church of Christ in West Portsmouth, Ohio is searching for a Gospel preacher. Additional information may be obtained from Gavin G. Coriell.
New Book: A new title, Final Stronghold by Joel Hebron Hendon, is available from bookstores and from https://4dw.net/hwy9/books/fs.html.
Special Need: Matthew Lewis is an outstanding Gospel preacher struggling financially in northern Wisconsin about 60 miles south of Lake Superior (Hayward, WI). The Lord's church is about three years old, comprised of new Christians. Hayward, WI is truly a stateside mission field. The church has moved from rented rooms to a modest structure. Lacking about $1,500 monthly, Matt has obtained a seasonal job of building roof trusses (physically taxing work on an assembly line and long hours). The Lord's church needs to put brother Lewis back to work full-time edifying and building the church in Hayward, WI as soon as possible. For more information, contact Matthew Lewis. "Matt is an excellent student of the Word and a hard worker, in whom I have full confidence" (Louis Rushmore, Editor).
Family Tragedy: Lynn Parker, a preacher for the churches of Christ, and his family were in a horrific automobile accident in San Antonio, Texas. Medical costs for this Christian family are expected to exceed by at least $100,000 the insurance coverage by the at-fault other driver (now deceased), the Parker's automobile insurance and the Parker's medical insurance. Interested and able persons and congregations may send funds earmarked for the Parker Medical Fund to Elders, Church of Christ, P.O. Box 39, Spring, TX 77383. Please pray for this family.
