Charles J.
Aebi
Charles J. Aebi is a native of southwestern Pennsylvania.
He was raised with a denominational background, but obeyed the gospel
in 1949 and began preaching in 1952. He has a B.S. degree from Penn
State, an M.A. from Abilene Christian, and a Ph.D. from Ohio University.
He has served as minister for churches in Texas, Pennsylvania,
and West Virginia, and has preached and held workshops in several states
and in foreign countries. He taught Bible for 34 years at Ohio Valley
College, where he served for 15 years as academic dean and for 6 years
as chairman of the Bible Department. He retired from Ohio Valley
College in 1998.
Charles and his wife Imogene have four children and twelve
grandchildren. Among their children and their spouses they count
four teachers, two medical doctors, a preacher, a nurse, three deacons
who all preach on occasion, and eight Bible class teachers.
Charles currently is serving as minister for the Rosemar Road Church of

John Board
John Board was born (1965) at East Liverpool city hospital and raised in Chester, WV. He is the son of John D. and Margaret Board of the Church of Christ in Chester. John is married to the former Brenna Sue Wiley of Fairmont, WV. They have two daughters, Kayleigh and Emaleigh. John received his secular education from Oak Glen High School and West Virginia University. John received his biblical instruction from the church of Christ in Chester, Freed-Hardeman College (BS - Bible 1989), Southern Christian University (MA in Biblical Studies). He is currently continuing his education as SCU. John has worked as an Associate Minister for the Oakwood Road Church of Christ in Fairmont (89-91), Minister for the Church of Christ in Yreka, CA (91-93), and is currently laboring with the Church of Christ in Bridgeport, WV.

Bruce Daugherty
Bruce Daugherty was born to Emanuel and Judy Daugherty on April 19, 1959 in Warren, OH. In 1981 he married the former Gail Gleaton. They have two sons, Michael and Vince. Bruce has a B.A. in Bible from Freed-Hardeman University and is presently working on Master’s degree from Harding Graduate School. Bruce has been preaching for 23 years holding full-time works in Reynoldsburg, OH; Cervignana, Italy; Dayton Beach, FL and is presenting working with the 10th & Clairmont in Cambridge, OH. While in Florida Bruce was an instructor at the Florida School of Preaching and he has participated in campaigns in VA, OH, Italy, Zambia and Botswana (Africa).

Emanuel B. Daugherty
Emanuel B. Daugherty was born in Philippi, WV on January
12, 1939, and married Judy Null in 1958. They have four children: Bruce
(a preacher in Florida), Ramona Haynes, Rachel Cornell and Rebecca Poe
all living in Ohio. Emanuel graduated from Memphis School of Preaching
in 1968 and Alabama Christian School of Religion in 1982. He has preached
full time for the Alkire Road church of Christ, Grove City, OH and Dewey
Avenue church of Christ in St. Marys, WV.

Gallagher
Brent Gallagher was born in Dover, Ohio, in 1957. He is a graduate of Dover High School, Freed-Hardeman University (B.S. in Bible), and Harding Graduate School (M.A.R. in Ministry). He has served churches in New Matamoras, Ohio, Pine Grove, West Virginia, and is currently working with the Oakwood Road church of Christ in Fairmont, West Virginia. He is married to the former Janie Higginbotham of Chester, West Virginia. They have three children: Ryan, a student at Freed-Hardeman University, Amy, a sophomore in high school, and Jason, who is currently in the seventh grade.

Terry G. Jones
Terry Jones was born in Parkersburg, WV and was raised
in Toll Gate, WV. He is the son of Glenn and Linda Jones. He married Melinda
S. Hilvers on August 10, 1985. They now have two sons: Austin and Quintin.
He is a graduate of East Tennessee School of Preaching in Knoxville, TN.
He received his BA Degree from Ohio Valley College in May 1996. He worked
with the church in Mountain City, TN from 1986 to 1989. He then moved to
Pennsboro, WV where he has been preaching to the present.

Dan Kessinger
Dan Kessinger was born in Michigan in 1963 and has lived
in West Virginia since 1973. His father, Bob Kessinger, is also a Gospel
preacher. Dan graduated from Walton High School in Roane County and received
his AS and BS in Biblical Science from Ohio Valley College. He began preaching
in 1982 and his first located work was at Belle, WV the same year. He has
served as located preacher at Proctor, WV and at Dewey Avenue in St. Marys
(present). He has spoken on lectureships, preached in several Gospel meetings,
contributed to religious publications, and conducted local TV and radio
programs. He is married to the former Mary Amy West and they have two sons:

Charles C. Pugh, III
Charles C. Pugh III was born June 17, 1948 in Marietta,
Ohio, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Charles C. Pugh, Jr. His father served
as an elder of the Grand Central Church of Christ, Vienna, WV until his
death in 1977. Charles is a graduate of Parkersburg High School
and has studied at Ohio Valley College, Harding University and Harding
Graduate School of Religion with graduate study in Philosophy of Religion
and Christian Evidences under Thomas B. Warren. He is married to
the former Sharron Beeson of Harrisburg, Arkansas, and they have three
children: Mrs. Benjamin (Mendy) Brewster, Charles IV (Chip), and
Nicole; and one grandchild, Hannah.
He has spoken on various lectureships (Spiritual Sword,
Freed-Hardeman, Ohio Valley College, Ohio Valley, Firm Foundation, Greater
Kanawha Valley and others), preaches in several Gospel meetings yearly,
has published articles in various brotherhood publications, and has written
numerous weekly articles for area newspapers. He has served as a
part-time instructor in Bible at Ohio Valley College, and has been a faculty
member of the West Virginia School of Preaching in Moundsville since its
inception in 1994, where he teaches various courses in Christian Evidences
and Homiletics.
Charles preached his first sermon in July, 1967 at the
Red Bush Church of Christ, Little Hocking, Ohio. Upon graduating
from Harding University, he worked with Jess Nutter at the Harmar Hill
Church of Christ, Marietta, Ohio, and has served as an evangelist for the
following congregations: Harmar Hill, Marietta, OH; Indianola, Mississippi;
Chestnut Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Camden Ave., Parkersburg, WV; Waverly,
WV; and is now serving as the preacher for the Bridge Street Church of
Christ in New Martinsville, West Virginia, since September, 1987.
He has authored a number of Bible study books including:
Building
A Christian Life, English Translations of the Bible and the Common Man,
Great Chapters of the Bible, How To Study The Bible, Why I Am A Christian,
Woman - Where Does Woman Fit In?, Why We Do What We Do In Worship, Something
To Hold On To When Life Falls Apart, Seven Statements From The Cross
etc. Also, several lesson books have been written on various books
of the Bible: 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians,
Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2

Steve Snider
Steve Snider was born in Clarksburg, WV in 1954.
He is a graduate of Preston Road School of Preaching and has a Masters
Degree from Southern Christian University. He is married to the former
Diane Hatcher of Duluth, GA, and they have a daughter, Stephanie, and a
son, Aaron. Steve has preached in Georgia and has been the located
preacher for the Barrackville, WV congregation for the past 15 years.
He has completed several missionary trips to India.

W. Terry Varner
Terry received his education at Abilene Christian University,
Waynesburg College, West Liberty State Teachers College, West Virginia
State College, National Christian University and Alabama Graduate School
of Religion. He began preaching in 1961 at Shadyside, OH and has preached
for churches in Dunbar, WV and North Canton and Dayton, OH, before moving
to Marietta in 1978.
He has spoken on numerous lectureships throughout the
brotherhood and participates in teacher training schools on a regular basis.
He has authored four books and wrote regularly for Firm Foundation and writes for Therefore Stand, the latter of which he is owner and editor. He speaks
on a daily radio program in Marietta, which is the oldest continuous radio
program of brethren in Ohio.
Terry is married to the former Lillie Garrison and they
have four children and five grandchildren.

D. Gene West
D. Gene West was born in Chester, WV and attended public
schools in Hancock County. He earned an Associate in Arts Degree from Freed-Hardeman
College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Liberty State College and
a Bachelor of Science Degree from Fairmont State College. He has served
churches in Martin's Ferry, OH; Kissimmee, FL; Hundred, Moundsville, Vienna
and Fairmont, WV. He presently preaches for Steelton church of Christ in
New Martinsville, WV. He was baptized by brother Jess Nutter in 1950. He
was the owner and editor of the Bible Herald for several years, and has
spoken on numerous lectureships and conducts several Gospel meetings each
year. Gene and his wife, the former Shirley Bissett, have three children:
Kandi Davis, Mary Amy Kessinger and Todd and six grandchildren.
