Cameron, WV: Bonnie and Louis Rushmore have labored in a partial capacity with the Cameron, WV church of Christ since November 2001. Recently, the church in Cameron asked Bonnie and Louis to work with them full-time, which they have agreed to do. However, their move to Cameron is contingent on raising sufficient financial support from sister congregations. Anyone interested in more details or desiring to help toward this end may contact Louis Rushmore, the Editor of Gospel Gazette Online.
Moundsville, WV: Robert Rushmore will begin studies at the West Virginia School of Preaching in the fall of 2002. He and his wife Megan will need financial assistance to enable him to fully devote himself to the program over the next two years. Some of his articles have appeared in the pages of GGO and he is a son of the Editor of GGO. Funds may be sent to West Virginia School of Preaching, P.O. Box 785, Moundsville, WV 26041; write "Robert Rushmore" on the memo line of your check. You may also contact the Director of WVSOP.
St. George, UT: The Boulevard Church of Christ has been heavily involved with establishing a working congregation in St. George, Utah for the last ten years. St. George is a fast growing town where the population has doubled in the last seven years and is expected to double in the next seven. The Mormon influence is great but now diluted in numbers from about 98% to around 50% due to the growth factor. In the last few years, the church in St. George has been able to get a building and about two acres. They own this without debt. They also have a little money to help evangelize. They are at this time trying to get their first located preacher to help them spring forward in the work for the Lord. They need your help in raising about $30,000.00 annually quickly to this end. They are at this time united in thought and effort and committed to seeing the church evangelize the St. George area. Their numbers average 25 at this time. The man they are wanting to have work with them is Paul J. Ditoro. He has been highly recommended by sound brethren and was liked by the congregation. He is 65 and mature. He is strong in personal work which is a must in this new area for the church.
