The Lord Has Given You Power

"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

Someone has written the following admonition and I
challenge you to consider it.

All the water in the world,
However hard it tried,
Could never, never sink a ship
Unless it got inside.

All the evil in the World,
The blackest kind of sin,
Can never hurt you one least bit --
Unless YOU let it in.

"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13)
